Senior Blackberry Developer/Lead
Description: The qualified candidate will be part of mPortal’s Smart Phone Client development team and will be involved in mPortal’s product design and development.. Experience Requirements: - 5-7 years of experience of development in Embedded/Mobile domain.
- 2+ years of experience in Application development on Blackberry and 3+ years in Java/C++ is a must.
- Need to be well versed with exception handling, permission settings, networking, file system access, imaging, multi threading, UI, RMS, OTA and installations.
- Porting J2ME Apps to Blackberry and vice versa will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of OOPS programming languages ( C++/Java).
- Knowledge of J2ME/ Symbian (S60)/ Android is an added advantage (not mandatory).
- Knowledge of Version Controlling Tools like CVS, SVN, Clear case, and so on.
- Good communication skills are a must.
- Should be self-driven and operate independently with less guidance.
Key Job Responsibilities Include:
- Must have hands-on code experience and should have led a team of 4 to 5 developers in the past.
- Ability to lead and mentor team of application developers.
- Ability to design solutions and come up with innovative solutions.
- Ability to delegate and review code submitted.
- UI design.
