Reliance Infocomm Selects mPortal to Deliver Wireless Data Solutions


Vienna, VA - Reliance Infocomm, a newly licensed CDMA carrier in India, has selected mPortal Inc as the lead wireless solutions provider tasked with building the strategy, infrastructure, and mobile data applications required to support carrier-grade mobile solutions for both the consumer and enterprise data markets. Reliance has licensed the mPortal’s Mobile Operator Suite, including its signature Enterprise Everywhere™ mobile application platform, to serve as the foundation of their mobile data infrastructure, called the Reliance Application Platform (RAP). mPortal and Reliance are collaborating on the development of several revenue-enhancing mobile data applications across both consumer and enterprise customer segments that will fuel adoption rates and subscriber growth. Within the enterprise market, mPortal is working with Reliance and leading enterprises across India to define and deliver robust cutting-edge applications focusing on CRM, SFA, and FFA in over ten major vertical markets.
