Reliance Infocomm Selects mPortal to Deliver Wireless
Data Solutions
Vienna, VA - Reliance Infocomm, a newly licensed CDMA
carrier in India, has selected mPortal Inc as the lead
wireless solutions provider tasked with building the
strategy, infrastructure, and mobile data applications
required to support carrier-grade mobile solutions for
both the consumer and enterprise data markets. Reliance
has licensed the mPortal’s Mobile Operator Suite,
including its signature Enterprise Everywhere™
mobile application platform, to serve as the foundation
of their mobile data infrastructure, called the Reliance
Application Platform (RAP). mPortal and Reliance are
collaborating on the development of several revenue-enhancing
mobile data applications across both consumer and enterprise
