Venkatesh, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, has more than
eighteen years experience in the telecommunications
industry across Wireless, Internet, and Media sectors.
His roles have varied from executive management
to strategic planning and business development.
As CEO of mPortal, Mr. Venkatesh oversees all aspects
of strategy, sales, and marketing for mPortal. Over
the past seven years, he has led the company through
its various growth stages. |
Prior to founding mPortal, Mr. Venkatesh
was with McKinsey & Company in their Hong Kong Office
as part of their global Telecommunications Practice
and worked with several leading global communication
providers as a strategic consultant to their Boards
and Management teams. His work included development
of the strategy for an Asian conglomerate to expand
its telecom business into China; market rollout plans
of a telecom operator in India; global strategy for
a large Pan-Asian carrier; and strategy for hardware
manufacturer to add a new growth business in software.
Mr. Venkatesh led the Asia Pacific Communications Industry
practice for Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE:CSC)
and started CSC’s office in Asia in Hong Kong.
Within 2 years, CSC’s Asia base grew rapidly
to include 5 countries (Hong Kong, India, Philippines,
Malaysia and Indonesia). Earlier in his career, Mr.
Venkatesh held several positions in product management
and marketing for Convergys (Nasdaq:CVG) in North America
while working with communication providers in their
BSS/OSS infrastructure needs.
Mr. Venkatesh holds an MS in Industrial Engineering
and an MBA both from the University of Cincinnati, as
well as a BS in Chemical Engineering from Anna University.

Sathiya Krishnan, Chief Technology Officer, EVP, and Co-founder, has more than eighteen years experience in telecommunications industry in wireless technology (voice and data), mobile devices, e-commerce, and architecture and system integration. His roles have varied from executive management; to business modeling; to product development, including hands-on customer implementations.

| His entrepreneurial background gives him the unique ability to combine technology and business skills in formulating a cost effective solution for the customer.

As CTO of mPortal, Mr. Krishnan has been instrumental in architecting, building, and leading the implementation of mPortal’s products, the SPRINGBOARD Content Delivery Manager and SPRINGBOARD Smart Client. Over the past six years, he has worked with key customers, like Disney Mobile, Sprint, ESPN, Reliance Infocomm, in implementing mPortal’s software products and building their mobile data business. Today Mr. Krishnan is assisting leading MNOs, MSOs and landline Telco as they architect their mobile strategies to address the upcoming mobile convergence.
Prior to founding mPortal, Mr. Krishnan was a partner at Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC). Mr. Krishnan worked with several leading telecommunication providers such as MCI and Nextel on major telecom and wireless projects. Mr. Krishnan also has handled large scales projects leading the firm’s e-commerce initiatives and worked with AICPA, and Fort James.
Mr. Krishnan holds a BS in Engineering from University
of Madras and MS in Computer Sciences from University
of Maryland.

Michael P. McCray, Chief Operating Officer, has more than twenty-two years of experience in managing business operations and consulting in the software and telecommunications industries and has been recognized for establishing organizational teamwork and accountability to manage growth and deliver results for corporations.
As COO of mPortal, Mr. McCray supervises all domestic and international financial, contractual, operational, and product support matters. |
Prior to joining mPortal, Mr. McCray was a principal with Celeration Associates, where he assisted mid-market service companies in winning and implementing large complex business opportunities. In addition, he spent five years at Oracle Corporation where he served in Vice President roles in both Oracle Consulting and Oracle Support Services. His additional experience includes Vice President and General Manager positions at CSC Intelicom and BankIllinois Company.
Mr. McCray holds a BS Finance and an MBA from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and a MA degree in Communications, System Strategy and Management, from Northwestern University.

BA Winston, VP of Product Implementations,
has more than fifteen years of product development, management
and consulting experience primarily in the wireless industry,
with the last five years solely focused on wireless data and content.
He has extensive experience in Wireless
Content infrastructure, Telco OSS/BSS and applications. As VP of Product Implementations, Mr. Winston has been
a lead designer/architect on mPortal’s SPRINGBOARD Content Delivery Manager and SPRINGBOARD Smart Client products. |
Mr. Winston has been instrumental in the management of the development
of customer care and billing systems, wireless data platforms and wireless applications for several clients including Mobile ESPN,
Disney Mobile, Nextel, Xerox, Reliance Infocomm, Alltel, Verizon, Motorola, etc.
Prior to joining mPortal, Mr. Winston has worked on the implementation and operations of OSS/BSS systems for
carriers like Nextel, T-Mobile, Western Wireless and Southern Communications. His work experience ranges from systems analysis
and design to management and planning. He has worked for several large product companies in the USA, UK and India.
Mr. Winston holds a BE in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University in Madras, India and an MBA
from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

Bradly (Brad) Kistler, Vice President, Sales, has more than fifteen years of sales experience in the telecommunications industry, and joined mPortal to lead the company’s sales efforts.
Prior to joining mPortal, Mr. Kistler served as director of sales for Teleglobe/VSNL International, where he was responsible for sales to the mobile network operator and MVNO market segments in both the North America and Caribbean regions.

He has extensive experience in both the fixed and wireless arenas, across the disciplines of broadband, voice, mobile signaling and content, focusing on driving customer acquisition and management of key client relationships.
Mr. Kistler began his career with Allnet Communications, subsequently advancing in a succession of sales roles through the acquisitions by Frontier Communications in 1994 and Global Crossing in 1999. He has also held senior-level sales positions under Chris Rooney at Cignal Global Communications, and at Qwest and RCN Corporation, serving the domestic and international wholesale markets, as well as the U.S. Government.
Mr. Kistler received his Bachelor of Science degree from The Pennsylvania State University in 1989.

Rajendran Raghavan,
General Manager, mPortal India, has 20 years of experience in the
software and telecommunications industry in management and engineering roles.
As General Manager of mPortal India, Mr. Raghavan was instrumental in setting up
the India operations of mPortal in 2003 and growing the operations to its current size. |
Prior to joining mPortal India,
Mr. Raghavan was Vice President of Engineering at Bluefont Technologies,
where he was responsible for overseeing product engineering and development activities.
Before that, he spent several years in the US in product management and
engineering roles in the Operating System (OS), Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and
Educational software industries. In addition, he was with Wipro Technologies for
five years where he served in project management and engineering roles.
Mr. Raghavan holds an MS in Computer Science from Virginia Tech,
an MS in Engineering from the University of Florida and a B.Tech in Engineering
from I.I.T Kanpur.
