Description:

Are you a highly experienced C++ developer or a senior mobile developer with C++ background? Do you have a keen interest in creating next generation mobile apps on the latest mobile devices? If so, then this is the position for you to consider.

Reporting to the project Senior Architect, the Mobile Handset Developer will help to define, architect, and develop a mobile application for Apple iPhone and iTouch platforms.

In this role, the Mobile Handset Developer will work with the development team and program manager and also leverage mobile industry knowledge from other product architecture teams.

Key Job Responsibilities Include:

• Working with the Project Manager, Architects and other Developers to help design and build products that leverage the latest mobile and wireless networking technologies.
• Taking ownership of mobile applications for Apple platforms.
• Taking ownership of server side solution architecture and providing an end-to-end solution.
• Working with development teams and also implementing core functionalities of the product.
• Reviewing and enhancing the scalability of our server product.
• Evaluating product performance and developing performance tuning methodologies.
• Providing weekly status on your progress to management teams.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum experience of 6-8 years working on Design & Development of Java/J2EE projects/products.
• Strong fundamentals in core Java technologies.
• Object oriented design and methodology.
• Architecting and design of end to end applications in JAVA / J2EE.
• Hands on experience with open source MVC architecture.
• Modular level of software design experience to maximize re-usability.
• Evaluation and recommendation of best practices, technologies and tools to develop, maintain, and deploy systems.
• Should be able to develop POC’s for new projects, which can be used as a baseline to build scalable products.
• Good relational database skills and experience with products such as Oracle, MySQL, etc.
• Testing and debugging experience with JUnit and integrated testing experience with Jmeter, WATIR, and SAHI is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with very tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly document technical ideas in a concise manner.
• Experience in mobile industry is a big plus.
