The qualified candidate will be part of mPortal’s Smart Phone Client development team and will be involved in mPortal’s product design and development..

Experience Requirements:

• 3-4 years of experience of development in Embedded/Mobile domain.

• 1+ years experience of Application development on Blackberry and 1+ year of experience in Java/C++ is a must.

• Need to be well versed with exception handling, permission settings, networking, file system access, imaging, multi threading, UI, RMS, OTA installations, and so on.

• Porting J2ME Apps to Blackberry and vice versa will be an added advantage.

• Good knowledge of OOPS programming languages (C++/Java).

• Knowledge of J2ME/ Symbian (S60)/ Blackberry is an added advantage (not mandatory).

• Knowledge of Version Controlling Tools like CVS, SVN, Clear case, and so on.

• Good communication skills are a must.

• Should be self-driven and operate independently with less guidance.

Key Job Responsibilities Include:

• Must have hands-on code experience and take responsibility of a particular module.
• Ability to work as part of a team, and mentor trainees.
• UI design and implementation.
