Technical Lead             

The Technical Lead will be a member of the multi-location mPortal Product Development Team and/or the Product Implementation Team based at mPortal's location in Bangalore, India.


Job Description:

· Design and develop complex technical solutions for our server-side
  Mobile Content Delivery System product suite used by leading
  wireless telecom carriers and MVNOs across the globe.
· Design and develop enterprise class applications using Java and
  J2EE, XML and XSL and database technologies.
· Hands-on coding and debugging responsibilities in server-side J2EE
  environments
· Mentor and lead a team of junior developers
· Single-point of accountability for technical delivery of assigned
  projects
· Need to have excellent team orientation skills. Good
  Communication Skills required.
· Key requirement is an ability to catch up with new technologies and
  to work in a high-paced dynamic environment with unknown
  requirements, deadline pressures etc.

Experience Requirements:

· BE/BTech in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
· 4+ Years of experience
· Must have strong communication skills
· Must have experience in leading a team of experienced J2EE
  developers
· Must have been responsible for technical delivery of J2EE projects
· Strong hands-on experience in coding and debugging J2EE
  applications
· Strong hands-on experience with multiple J2EE application servers
  including configuring, deploying and debugging.
· Must have experience with Version Control systems preferably CVS
· Experience with J2ME/ BREW/Windows Mobile or other handset
  technologies very strong plus
