Technical/Customer Support Engineer
This person will be responsible for Technical - Customer Support. The candidate will respond to phone, email, and web requests for technical support and work with customers to resolve issues. This person must have a basic understanding of programming concepts and databases.
This person filling this position needs the following experience/skills/degrees:
· 1-3 years of previous experience supporting large scale software systems for multiple customers is a must.
· Technical skills – previous experience working with J2EE systems/Unix systems is a must.
· Experience with SQL and databases.
· Working Knowledge of Jboss, Apache, and Tomcat.
· Proven ability to research and solve complex technical problems.
· Experience using a customer support tracking tool a plus.
· Willing to be on call for support escalations.
